VERSION 1.7.0 · 20.10.2026 Live
New club websites and volunteer hours all the way to the donation receipt
Your club website gets two fully designed templates, more than 20 building blocks and a new editor with draft and preview – events, news and teams fill themselves in automatically. Volunteer hours now run in Racqt from start to finish: check-ins without a location become a request that the committee confirms, GPS check-ins count by themselves after the session. Your cut-off date sets the period, extra hours get their own rate, and the club decides which options there are. Before the annual settlement, a preview shows what will happen and warns where something is missing. If a SEPA mandate is missing, the payout waits for a back payment instead of being lost. Tax-privileged clubs can also accept extra hours as a donation with receipt — with a waiver deadline, a reminder and a clear rule for what applies afterwards. Plus lots of small improvements: the member import now also understands your own export and an empty role, the player search in the apps filters by your availability, prices are shown to the cent everywhere, and mixed matches appear as doubles. And if you chose “Mixed” or “Singles & doubles” as your match type in the portal, you can get into the iPhone app without any trouble again.
Read the article: Racqt 1.7 — volunteer hours that count themselves- Two templates in the style of big tennis clubs: “Sporty” – spacious, with large photos and fine lines – and “Friendly” – warm, with soft cards and a serif typeface
- One club colour is enough: your whole colour scheme grows out of it – dark and light areas, matching greys and an accent colour automatically chosen as its counterpart. Text always stays easy to read
- New navigation: menu items with subpages open a large menu with short descriptions and your next event; on a phone, a full-screen menu opens
- The site comes alive: photos zoom in gently as they load, sections glide in as you scroll, figures count up – anyone who has set “Reduce motion” on their device sees everything straight away without animation
- Your site looks finished even without your own photos: wherever an image is missing, a designed area in your club colours appears
- Events get an event image: it appears on the event page and in the large menu for the next event
- Under “Erscheinungsbild” (Appearance) you can see your home page in each template before you save
- More than 20 building blocks for your pages: a big intro with a photo or collage, text and image, offers, key figures, a quote, gallery, FAQ, contact with map, video, timeline and more
- Events, news, teams, courses, facilities, fees and sponsors fill themselves automatically from your club data
- The new page editor shows the outline on the left, your page in the middle exactly as visitors see it – on a phone too – and the settings on the right
- Changes are saved automatically as a draft; only “Veröffentlichen” (Publish) puts them online, and you can bring back older versions via “Versionen” (Versions)
- All subpages – from teams and events to forms and the legal notice – appear in your template’s colours and fonts
- New clubs already find a ready-made home page in draft
- Check-ins without a location or away from the work site arrive as a request in the new “Freigaben” (Approvals) tab — confirm them one by one or all together, or decline with a reason
- Check-ins with a location are credited automatically with the scheduled hours after the session ends; you can check in at the earliest one hour before it starts
- Your cut-off date sets the period, for example from 1 October to 30 September — a start date prevents periods before the introduction from being settled
- You pay for extra hours with a switch and their own rate; you decide whether members can have them paid out or donate them to the club, and can make payout the default if you like
- Before the annual settlement, a preview shows for each member what the run will do, and warns about a missing choice, a missing SEPA mandate, amounts above the volunteer allowance (Ehrenamtspauschale) and requests still open
- If a member has no SEPA mandate at the time of the run, the payout stays pending; once there is one, you create a back-payment file with one click
- Racqt gets in touch by itself: for new check-in requests, for pending payouts, for the first extra hours and 14 days before the cut-off date
- Settlement, bank files and donation receipts are reserved for the “Finanzen” (Finances) area – anyone who only organises work sessions sees no IBANs or addresses
- The participant list, approvals and settlement are easy to use on a phone too, and hours are shown with a decimal comma everywhere, such as “1,5 Std.” (1.5 hrs)
Donation with receipt
- Tax-privileged clubs enter their legal basis and tax details and offer the donation with receipt as a further option — with legal notes right next to the setting
- Members first choose the donation as an intention; after settlement they explicitly confirm in the portal or in the app that they waive their compensation
- There is a deadline for the waiver, set by the club — Racqt reminds you once beforehand, and with “Lieber auszahlen lassen” (Pay me instead) you can switch to the payout at any time
- Without a waiver by the deadline, the club’s rule applies: the amount is paid out, or the committee decides in the approvals — it pays out or records a waiver the member has declared to it, with a note and the date of the declaration
- The committee downloads the declared waivers as a CSV file with address, amount, waiver date, legal basis and a note for the donation receipts
- With an app older than version 1.7.0, you declare the waiver in the portal
- In the portal and in the apps for iPhone and Android you see the dates of your period, what happens to your extra hours and whether that is your choice or the club’s default
- In the portal you now choose what happens to your extra hours right in the “Meine Stunden” (My hours) card
- If a payout is waiting for your SEPA mandate, the portal tells you what is missing and links to your mandates
- On a work session, the portal now shows you whether your hours have been credited, are waiting for approval or were not recognised — you can withdraw as long as you are only registered
Small improvements
- You can now enter social media links without “https://”, such as “instagram.com/your-club” — Racqt adds the rest
- The text dialog in the page editor closes cleanly with the Escape key, without an error message
- The admin header shows the right title on the work session page, in the navigation and in the history
- Pages can be archived and restored in the page list again
- On a phone, the member list, open items, direct debit and the portal pages now fit the width – without scrolling sideways
- Inactive tabs are easier to read
- You can edit your member export and import it again — email addresses are kept
- If you leave the “Rolle” (role) column in the template empty, the person simply arrives as a member
Cancelling in the app
- You can now cancel your club membership right in the app: Racqt shows you beforehand on which date your leaving takes effect under your club’s notice period, and until then everything carries on as usual – including your fee
- Your cancellation goes to the committee as a request; until they decide, you can withdraw it. Confirmed or declined with a query – you get a notification either way
- For the committee: when a member cancels in the app, the request appears in the member list and in the member record with the date received, the leaving date from your statutes’ notice period and the reason – confirming is one click, and when declining you can briefly tell the member why
- Racqt uses the large screen of foldable phones such as the iPhone Duo or the Pixel Fold, and of tablets: unfolded, your chats sit on the left and the open chat right next to them, and the tabs move to the edge
- If you fold or unfold your phone, nothing is lost: the open chat, a post you’ve started and half-filled forms stay exactly as you left them
- In the club calendar, on large screens you see the month and your daily schedule side by side
- If your phone stands half open like a book, Racqt splits the view exactly at the fold – no button sits in the crease any more
- Posts, articles and sign-in stay comfortable to read on wide screens, and cover images grow with them instead of turning into narrow strips
Apps for iPhone & Android
- In the player search you can now filter by availability — mornings, evenings or at the weekend — and the app only finds players who have time then
- Mixed matches appear in the feed and in your match list as doubles, with both partners
- Court prices and amounts in the club area are shown to the cent in the iPhone app
- The player search no longer stays empty when you push the rating slider all the way to the right
- In the iPhone app, the player search shows matching players as soon as you open it — and the filters for playing style and match type now really work
- If you chose “Mixed” or “Singles & doubles” as your match type in the portal, the iPhone app signs you in normally again, and your statistics load reliably
- A tap on a notification now takes you straight there in both apps: to the match, post, profile, article, event or team – from the notification list too
- You can report chat messages, and in the chat you reliably see whether your message has been read. A message arrives only once, even on a shaky connection
- On the iPhone you can now send pictures in the chat, mute chats and leave groups
- You now see your SEPA mandates in both apps and can revoke them or grant them again – also straight from a payout that is still waiting for a mandate
- Your club’s documents, such as the membership confirmation, are in both apps under “Dokumente” (Documents)
- In the Android app you can book and rate coaches, search posts, browse by hashtag, add a location to posts and see your week and achievements in nutrition
- The Android app stays exactly where you were when you rotate it, switch to dark mode or change the text size – and you stay signed in without a connection
- My Club mode stays switched on, even if you turn it on in the Android app’s settings
- With very large text, bookings and the clubhouse stay easy to read on the iPhone, and VoiceOver and TalkBack no longer read out decorative symbols
- You can now really delete a chat: it only disappears for you, the others keep it – and only once everyone has deleted it is it gone for good. The app asks briefly first
- For a coaching session, the duration automatically matches the chosen service, and you pay exactly the price from the coach’s price list
- If you cancel the payment while booking a court, the court is free again immediately – and you can cancel a booking that hasn’t been paid yet free of charge
- If your club cancels an event in the Android app, you automatically get paid participation fees back
- Private notes on your matches can be edited again without an error message
- The Android app checks your set score as you enter it and tells you clearly what doesn’t fit
- In the iPhone app, committee members can create blocked times for their courts again
- After deleting your account, the Android app takes you cleanly to sign-in
- In the iPhone app, set entry for a match jumps from field to field, only accepts valid results and confirms when it has saved
- If you enter a match, you no longer get a notification about your own result – your fellow players are told who entered it instead
- If you change a match afterwards, your head-to-head record against that opponent is correct again too
- “Booking confirmed” now also arrives when you pay by invoice, direct debit or PayPal – not just for free courts
- If you cancel the PayPal payment in the Android app or close the PayPal window, the court is free again immediately
- With large text, the search field, times and event titles stay fully readable in the Android app
- A match you entered yourself can now be deleted in both apps – the app asks briefly first
- In the Android app too, set entry jumps from field to field and closes the keyboard as soon as the match is decided
- Already in the booking form and at payment you see in both apps what your court costs – and free courts say “Kostenlos” (Free) instead of “0,00 €”
- If you tap a court booking in the iPhone app, you see all the details such as payment, guest and note and can cancel directly
- Times in the iPhone app are shown without seconds, and you remove a blocked time after a brief confirmation
- Bio, town and postcode in your profile can be cleared again in both apps
- In a direct chat in the Android app, you now reach the chat details and muting just like on the iPhone
- If you cancel a new match or post in the Android app, the app asks whether you really want to discard the draft
- Committee members now manage their members in the Android app with search, role changes and removal with confirmation – and see all members, not just the first ones
- In the Android app you can now request your data just like on the iPhone – you get the download link by email
- The iPhone app has its own “Hilfe & Support” (Help & Support) page with the help centre, email contact and postal address
- The Android app’s status bar adapts to the chosen appearance, and in dark mode events and news are easier to read
- Many texts in both apps are clearer and more consistent – for example “S/N” (W/L) in the statistics, rounded percentages and German number formats
- VoiceOver and TalkBack read out more buttons understandably, such as “Gefällt mir” (Like), “Senden” (Send) and “Zum Kalender hinzufügen” (Add to calendar)
- If you cancel your registration for an event, you get a confirmation by notification and email – with the amount you’ll get back
